New Hikizuri Furisode Kimono
This kimono is called Hikizuri Furisode, which has long sleeves and longer than usual length (mine has two meters long) and the kimono is very heavy. Hikizuri style kimono like this one usually worn by Kabuki dancers, Geisha as well as a wedding ceremony for bride. Hikizuri Furisode is also called Uchikake Robe. I purchased this kimono for my stage performance.

Tsujigahana motif kimono and obi
This is my Tsukesage with the Tsujigahana(辻が花 )motif.
The name “tsuji-ga-hana” first emerged on a literature in the late 15th century. A literature says in 1596, Toyotomi Hideyoshi presented tsujigahana to an emissary from Ming as his/her farewell present. Tsuji-ga-hana, which range from simple tie-dyeing to impressing foil and embroidered gorgeous one, became fashionable in the public after a century from its birth. Simultaneously, the name “tsujigahana” seemed to have become popular as we associate kimono with “Yuzen”.

Today, my kitsuke lesson kimono is Kuro tomesode.
Kuro (black) tomesode with five family mon is the most elegant and formal way to dress. Kuro tomesode can be worn only by married women.
I like the peacock motif.
